Develop locally

Read AGENTS.md, docs/SKILL.md and docs/DECISIONS.md. The showcase has no database. Preserve existing component contracts and literal Tailwind classes.

Add a component

Create a template starting with load wdj, add a catalog entry and several standalone examples. Document its Django API and upstream adaptation. Test markup, routes, keyboard and the changed interaction.

Review criteria

Check both themes, narrow and landscape layouts, real links, native forms, disabled states, focus return, HTMX replacement and runtime errors. Update COMPONENT_STATUS.md only after verification.
